Human Performance Manager

Fuse Energy is an energy startup on a mission to make energy abundant and affordable, fast. We combine first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We've raised over $200M from top-tier investors including Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, 20VC, Hummingbird and Collaborative Fund, alongside strategic angels including Nico Rosberg and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify and Uber. We're building a fully integrated energy company: developing our own solar, batteries and other generation projects, building our own hardware, improving and developing grid infrastructure, trading power in real time, using AI across the business, and installing distributed energy in homes. By selling directly to consumers we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass the savings on to our customers. This role would suit a performance-minded office manager, workplace experience manager or performance coach who wants to take ownership of human productivity and performance in a fast-moving startup environment. ResponsibilitiesOwn human performance at Fuse, physical, mental and environmental, with the goal of making people healthier, sharper and higher-performing at workCome up with non-obvious ideas (nutrition, fitness, recovery, sensory/focus environments, wellbeing initiatives) and personally see them through from concept to deliveryBuild and run programmes that support peak performance, e.g. gym access, on-site fitness, nutrition/snacks, sleep and recovery initiatives, treating the office like a high-performance environment, not just a workplaceTake hands-on ownership of the details that shape how people feel and perform day to day, from food quality to physical environment to team energyAct as the first point of contact for performance-related ops, sourcing and deploying equipment, suppliers or spaces (e.g. sensory tanks, fitness kit) as neededPartner closely with our senior leaders to shape and prioritise the human performance agendaCollaborate with incoming office managers/ops hires as the team grows, with potential to lead this group over timeRequirements A genuine, demonstrated interest in human performance.
