Help deliver a world-class Masters in Finance experience at London Business School

The Role

London Business School is looking for a Programme Administrator to join the Masters in Finance programme team within Degree Education.

This role provides high-quality administrative support for the School’s full-time and part-time Masters in Finance programmes, helping ensure the smooth delivery of programme activities and an excellent student experience. You will work closely with students, faculty, practitioners and professional services colleagues, supporting programme operations through accurate administration, clear communication, event coordination and responsive student support.

As a key member of the MiF Programme Office, you will contribute to the successful running of a specialist post-experience degree designed for mid-career finance professionals. You will also collaborate across the wider Programme & Student Experience division to support shared services, departmental operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Please note that, due to the nature of the programme, some evening and weekend work will be required. Time off in lieu is provided for these hours.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for students, alumni and stakeholders, providing timely, professional and student-focused support.

  • Maintain accurate student and programme records in line with School policies and quality standards.

  • Support programme administration, including enrolment, progression monitoring, assessments, examinations and academic initiatives.

  • Coordinate programme communications, including announcements, newsletters, Canvas content and student engagement activity.

  • Support student representative initiatives, meetings and elections.

  • Assist Programme Managers with the planning and delivery of programme activities, practitioner courses, skills courses, meetings, workshops and events.

  • Coordinate logistics, communications and stakeholder engagement to support successful programme delivery.

  • Provide financial and operational administration, including purchase orders, invoices, expense claims, budget monitoring, resources and merchandise.

  • Support shared Degree Programmes services, including Student Support Desk cover, shared inbox enquiries, student letters, transcript requests, degree verifications, student card queries and related record-keeping.

  • Contribute to office administration, divisional meetings, events and wider Degree Education operations.

  • Build effective working relationships across the School and identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and service delivery.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and customer-focused administrator who enjoys working in a busy, student-facing environment. You will be confident managing multiple priorities, have excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • A further education qualification, such as A-levels or equivalent, or relevant professional experience.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.

  • Experience using databases or student record systems; PowerPoint experience would be advantageous.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A professional, responsive and student-focused approach to customer service.

  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to take ownership of your work and contribute positively to team objectives.

  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach, including the ability to identify and support process improvements.

  • Experience providing administrative support in a busy office, higher education, professional services or customer-facing environment.

  • Experience coordinating events, meetings or stakeholder activities would be advantageous.

  • Generous annual leave of 27 days plus extra between Christmas and New Year

  • Enrolment into the Group Pension Scheme

  • Free onsite gym and swimming pool

  • Amazing range of professional development to support your career path

  • Enhanced cycle to work scheme
