The Role
The school is seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to oversee the effective running of key operational functions. This is a senior support staff role, working closely with the leadership team to ensure that the school operates efficiently and effectively on a daily basis.
You will play a crucial role in managing administrative systems, facilities, compliance and support services across the school.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operational management of the school
Line manage administrative and support staff
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage facilities, site operations and external contractors
Support HR processes, including recruitment and onboarding
Develop and implement efficient administrative systems
Monitor budgets and resources where appropriate
Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic planning
Requirements
Previous experience in operations or school business management
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of health and safety and compliance procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
