About Us

The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest independent charitable hospitals, established in 1932. We combine world-class facilities with a strong ethos of care and compassion.

Our main hospital has 234 beds and 10 theatres, supported by an award-winning cancer centre, The Duchess of Devonshire Wing. This purpose-built facility includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy and chemotherapy suites, and 47 dedicated Oncology and Haematology bedrooms.

As a charity, we reinvest every surplus back into advancing treatments, research, and patient care. This means we can continually invest in our teams and ensure our patients benefit from the very best that modern medicine can offer.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our expanding Cancer Care team, specialising in Urological Oncology.

You will be one of two CNSs leading the service, acting as the keyworker for patients and their families. This is a highly rewarding role where you will guide patients from the moment of diagnosis, through treatment, and beyond. Working in close partnership with our world-renowned consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals, you will deliver truly personalised and evidence-based care.

This is your chance to shape and develop the service, while making a significant impact on the lives of patients with urological cancers.

Key Duties:
  • Act as the first point of contact and trusted clinical expert for patients with urological cancers
  • Provide education, advice, and emotional support for patients and their families at every stage of the pathway
  • Develop and deliver individualised care plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes
  • Contribute to research, service development, and continuous quality improvement initiative
We Are Looking For

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate nurse who is ready to step into a highly specialist role. You will need:
  • Significant experience in oncology, with a focus on urology or palliative care
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, ideally within a cancer or palliative care setting
  • A postgraduate qualification (or working towards one) in oncology, palliative care, or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to support patients and colleagues alike
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to manage a complex caseload and contribute to service growth
Benefits

At The London Clinic, we want you to feel supported and valued from day one. Alongside flexible working and excellent opportunities to progress, we offer:
  • Private medical insurance
  • Contributory pension scheme with employer contribution up to 20 percent
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Life assurance
  • Season ticket travel loan
  • Family-friendly policies and support
  • A wide range of retail and lifestyle discounts
