Opening Paragraph:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6/7 Locum Voice Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Manchester Royal Infirmary. This role is essential in providing specialized speech and language therapy to patients with voice disorders. The position requires immediate availability and offers flexibility in working hours, either full-time or part-time, for a duration of three months

Responsibilities:
As a Band 6/7 Locum Voice Speech and Language Therapist you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing speech and language therapy treatment programs for patients with voice disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized therapy sessions, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Additionally, you will educate and support patients and their families, ensuring they are well-informed and involved in the therapeutic process. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall well-being and recovery of our patients.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience with vocal caseload
  • Knowledge of clinical voice disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
