About Us:
THE EXTRAORDINARY STORY OF GABRIEL’S INSIGHT
Public Health in Westminster City Council is a world of extraordinary stories. Where ambitious individuals work together to solve the issues our young people face. Gabriel’s can-do attitude got him to where he is now. It was his colleague, Kath, who encouraged him to apply for a data analyst secondment while working in our HR team, having started with the council in the Contact Centre. Gabriel was enrolled on a data apprenticeship that the council offered after finding that university wasn’t for him. Gabriel’s now part of the Public Health team spotting trends and patterns in young people’s eating habits and overall health in local schools. His work underpins the team’s core initiatives by identifying and enabling data-informed decisions across the borough. Gabriel’s insight allows services and support to be provided where it’s most needed. Gabriel and the team contribute wholeheartedly to the wellbeing of our residents. And he’s an integral part of our collective efforts to make sure children are given the best start in life. The Role:
