The Role: What You'll Be Doing
As a Science Teacher, you'll:
- Deliver innovative and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level (with the opportunity to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Foster a deep understanding of scientific principles and encourage practical investigation through engaging methodologies.
- Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of exciting departmental resources, STEM projects, and extracurricular science clubs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, develop engaging schemes of work, and drive continuous improvement across the faculty.

The Ideal Candidate: Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a Science Teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a specialism in Science.
- Has proven experience teaching Science across relevant Key Stages, with a strong track record of student progress.
- Possesses excellent subject knowledge across the sciences, and up-to-date understanding of the Science curriculum.
- Demonstrates exceptional classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Is committed to continuous professional development, a collaborative team player, and adaptable to the needs of a fast-paced urban school.
