An established professional services firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to join its corporate tax team in London.

The team advises a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of sectors, including owner-managed SMEs, corporate groups, UK entities within large international groups and non-resident landlords. Its work covers both corporate tax compliance and a varied range of advisory assignments.

This opportunity would suit a corporate tax professional with at least three to four years' experience who is looking to broaden their technical exposure, develop client relationships and progress towards CTA qualification.

THE ROLE

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax compliance assignments, reporting to Senior Managers, Directors, Tax Partners or Client Partners.

• Prepare corporation tax computations and tax returns for a varied client base.

• Prepare accounts disclosures and deferred tax calculations where required.

• Support owner-managed SMEs, corporate groups, UK entities within international groups and non-resident landlord clients.

• Research and provide technical support on tax advisory matters for Partners, Directors and Senior Managers.

• Work across a range of corporate tax compliance matters, including corporate interest restriction rules, transfer pricing, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbC), Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) requirements, R&D claims, capital allowances and property transactions.

• Support EIS/SEIS applications and administration, share scheme matters and non-resident landlord returns for offshore companies.

• Contribute to advisory projects involving reorganisations, demergers, transfer pricing, financing and cross-border transactions.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• A minimum of three to four years' experience in corporate tax compliance, including group tax matters.

• ATT qualified or hold an accountancy qualification such as ACA or ACCA.

• Interested in pursuing further professional development towards the CTA qualification.

• A good understanding of UK corporate tax compliance and an interest in developing broader advisory expertise.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact with clients and senior colleagues.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across assignments involving several Partners.

• A proactive self-starter who is motivated to learn, develop and take ownership of their work.
