Maths ECT (ECT Support) - Haringey Secondary School

We are working with a school in Haringey who are recruiting for an ambitious Mathematics ECT to join their high-performing STEM faculty. The Role You will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with a 20% reduced timetable in your first year to focus on professional development. The role centers on delivering mastery-based lessons while working alongside Lead Practitioners to refine your classroom craft. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-impact Mathematics lessons within a supportive department

• Engaging in weekly 1:1 coaching and mentoring sessions

• Contributing to the development of shared resources to manage workload

• Tracking student progress and implementing retrieval practice techniques

• Participating in the statutory Early Career Framework (ECF) induction program
