Join Our Team as a Team Leader
As a Security Team Leader, you will be responsible for a team of Security Officers whose primary role is
the protection of premises, assets, and personnel while maintaining a secure and safe environment for
visitors, staff and contractors. You will support the Security Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day
operation of the onsite security team in order to deliver a service that meets the client's expectations and
contractual requirements. In addition, you will ensure that cover is provided by utilising team organisation
and structure, and that a variety of administrative tasks are completed for reporting purposes. Your goal is
to detect, deter, protect, observe, and report.
About the Role:
As a Team Leader you will be responsible for:
- Ensure that all site security staff on shift implement the site security procedures correctly and
completely. - All officers are rotated throughout the shift where applicable to ensure consistency of
service. Rotations must be coordinated daily and planned around operational requirements. - Provide first line response to all incidents, fire, security and health and safety and manage these
in accordance with site procedures. - Be fully conversant with emergency evacuation/controlled movement to a place of safety
procedures at all the locations. - To play an integral role in any emergency including evacuation, dealing with antisocial behaviour,
and first aid incidents (or assistance to trained first-aiders). - Maintain the Daily Occurrence Logs ensuring that all occurrences and incidents are logged
accordingly to a high standard and great attention to deta. - Protecting the premises, property and personnel from theft, damage and violence; investigating
unusual conditions, reporting damage to perimeter fencing or other buildings within site, and
checking that buildings are securely locked. - Providing a customer focused service, maintaining a professional and courteous manner at all
times. - Offering advice and assistance, and being a visual presence and reassurance to site visitors

What we are looking for:
- Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to any situation
- High level leadership skills
- Work style providing the ability to work independently and in a team
