The Team
Our Corporate Tax specialists within the EY Private and Mid-Market team work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses (OMBs), multi-generational family businesses, private equity-backed firms, and AIM-listed companies. These clients span the entire business lifecycle—from early-stage startups to well-established multinational operations.
We provide both advisory and compliance services, offering guidance on M&A structuring, exit planning, group reorganisations, international expansion, and more.
At the heart of this role is the responsibility for building and maintaining trusted client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact, and ensuring clients are aware of and can access the full range of EY’s services.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our growing Private and Mid-Market Tax team in London. You’ll work with high-quality existing clients while having the chance to build your own network and contribute to business development efforts.
As EY continues to invest significantly in this area, we are looking for experienced Tax Seniors with a strong background in corporate tax, proven client relationship skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You’ll play a key role in helping us achieve our growth ambitions at this exciting time.
About You
- Commercially aware with the ability to align tax solutions with broader business objectives.
- Proven client relationship management skills and the ability to develop trusted advisor status.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex client needs.
- Strong technical skills in corporate tax, with relevant advisory and compliance experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across a variety of professional settings.
- Effective time management and ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiastic team player who can contribute to and lead high-performing teams.
- Committed to delivering quality work and taking ownership of project deliverables.
Qualifications
One or more of the following qualifications is preferred:
- ACA / ACCA / CA / CTA
- Or equivalent knowledge/experience (e.g., law qualification)
