Restaurant General Manager - New Opening
About the Role
My client is looking for a Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-quality, member-focused food and beverage operation opening in Spring 2026 . This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys being on the floor, setting the tone, knowing the guests and creating a place people want to come back to.
You’ll be overseeing a few different dining spaces, including a bar-led area, private dining and a terrace all working across breakfast and all-day service. You’ll have real ownership of how the operation feels day to day, from service standards and team energy through to guest experience and consistency.
About You
- You are an experienced General Manager (or strong senior manager ready for the step) from a quality-led restaurant, club or hospitality environment
- You lead from the front and enjoy being involved in service
- You are naturally guest-focused and pay attention to the small details
- You work well with chefs and understand how good service and good food go hand in hand
- You are comfortable managing rotas, costs and performance without losing the human side
- You care about your team, enjoy developing people and setting clear but fair standards
- You are calm, organised and confident in a fast-paced, premium setting
