Position Overview
An international family based in Central London is seeking a highly organised and versatile Governess/Personal Assistant to support both the educational development of their children and the smooth running of household administration. This is a full-time role with hours to be finalised in discussion with the family.
Key Responsibilities
Child-Focused (Governess Duties):
- Provide structured educational support and tutoring tailored to the child’s needs
- Plan engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
- Encourage cultural awareness, manners, and social development
- Liaise with schools, extracurricular tutors, and other professionals
Household/PA Duties:
- Assist with family diary management, appointments, and travel planning
- Organise household schedules and coordinate with staff
- Manage errands and day-to-day administrative tasks
- Ensure smooth communication between the family and external contacts
Candidate Requirements
- Strong background in education/teaching and prior governess or tutoring experience
- Organisational and administrative skills, with proven PA experience
- Discretion, reliability, and the ability to balance educational and household support
- Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing schedules
- Based in or easily commutable to Central London
