Indirect Tax Manager (1 day a week)

A leading international group is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to join its Group Tax Team. The tax function is overseen by the Group Tax Director. The team operates from offices across multiple jurisdictions, including key locations in the UK, Ireland. The business comprises several established brands and has a significant presence across a wide range of international markets.The Group Tax Team plays a central role in managing all tax-related matters across the organisation, including compliance, structuring, and advisory services. The Indirect Tax Manager will report to the Senior Manager and be involved in a broad spectrum of indirect tax responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and develop understanding of both local and international VAT/GST matters, including adapting to evolving legislative frameworks.Lead VAT-related projects and collaborate with the broader tax function and business stakeholders to deliver effective outcomes.Assist in the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the organisation's operational structures.Communicate tax advice clearly and effectively to business stakeholders, ensuring accurate implementation aligned with the team's strategic goals.Promote awareness of indirect tax issues across the organisation and build strong relationships with stakeholders in various jurisdictions.Review and approve selected VAT compliance obligations.Provide systems support and review contracts from a VAT perspective.This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile tax function within a flexible and international business environment.
