Are you an experienced education recruiter looking for more than another billing role?
Fox Search is recruiting for an established, growing London recruitment business offering experienced education recruiters the opportunity to develop an existing education recruitment operation or build an entirely new specialist division.
The company already works successfully within senior-level education recruitment, placing professionals into Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), Academy Trusts and education organisations across the UK.
They are now looking for ambitious, commercially experienced recruiters who can bring expertise, client relationships and ideas to help expand the business.
Education Recruitment Specialisms
The business is interested in recruiters with experience in:
- Primary and secondary education recruitment
- Day-to-day and long-term teacher supply
- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) recruitment
- Further Education (FE) recruitment
- Tuition and alternative provision
- Nurseries and early years recruitment
- Senior leadership and executive education recruitment
- Other established education recruitment specialisms
Experience working with Local Education Authorities (LEAs), local councils, Multi Academy Trusts, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), preferred supplier lists and education recruitment frameworks would be particularly valuable.
The company already has access to established frameworks and is open to exploring additional education recruitment markets.
The Opportunity
This is initially a hands-on 360 recruitment role with the potential to develop into a senior leadership Director position
- Expand the existing education recruitment business or establish a new division
- Develop relationships with schools, trusts, councils and education providers
- Manage the full recruitment process, including business development
- Help shape the commercial strategy of your specialist area
- Build and manage a team as the business grows
- Work towards potential Directorship and equity ownership
This is not a fixed desk or a one-size-fits-all position. The business is interested in what you can bring, the education market you know and your long-term ambitions.
Salary, Commission and Equity
- £50,000+ basic salary, depending on experience
- Competitive commission structure
- Potential commission guarantees for up to 12 months
- Potential pathway to Directorship
- Opportunity for up to 5% equity, subject to agreement
- Autonomy to develop your own recruitment specialism
- Opportunity to recruit and manage your own team
- Mature working environment without unnecessary micromanagement
Flexible Hybrid Working – London and UK
Although the business is based in London, it is open to experienced education recruiters living elsewhere in the UK.
- London-based recruiters: Typically two days in the office and three days working from home.
- Recruiters outside London: Office attendance could be as little as one day every one or two weeks.
- Flexible arrangements: Working patterns can be discussed according to location, experience and business requirements.
This flexibility could suit established education recruiters who want to develop a national client base without commuting into London every day.
Who Should Apply?
We welcome enquiries from experienced:
- Education Recruitment Consultants
- Senior Education Recruitment Consultants
- Education Recruitment Team Leaders
- Billing Branch Managers
- Education Recruitment Divisional Managers
- Education Recruitment Directors
You should have a successful track record within education recruitment, strong commercial awareness and the ability to develop client relationships and grow a profitable desk or division.
