About the Role – Graduate Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant , you will work alongside experienced teachers to support learning across a range of subjects and year groups. Key Responsibilities of a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- Support the teaching and learning process across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

- Promote positive behaviour and help maintain an engaging classroom environment

To be considered for this Graduate Teaching Assistant role, you should be:
- A recent university graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree in a core subject
- Passionate about education and supporting young people in a school setting
- A confident communicator with a positive and proactive approach
- Ideally experienced in tutoring, mentoring , or working with young people
- Punctual, reliable, and fully committed to a full-time role for the full academic year
- Interested in pursuing a future teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, School Direct, SCITT)
