A high-performing 11–18 boys’ school in Kingston is seeking a motivated Economics ECT to join their successful Social Sciences Faculty from January.

About the Economics Department
The Economics Department is academically rigorous, well-resourced, and made up of supportive specialists. Teachers collaborate to create stimulating schemes of work covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, markets, policy, and global economic issues. The department consistently achieves excellent A-level results and encourages debate, independent research, and critical thinking.
The Role
• Teach Economics at KS4–KS5.
• Deliver lessons that build financial literacy, analytical thinking, and awareness of global economic issues.
• Contribute to departmental development and wider school activities.
• Support enrichment such as economics societies or enterprise clubs.
Requirements
• PGCE completed with QTS by January 2026.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Economics.
• Reflective practitioner committed to development.
