Job Overview/Purpose

The Account Manager partners with our customers to transform their digital environment. The Account Manager is motivated to solve critical challenges and able to develop solutions for digital modernisation, cloud adoption, focussed on Business Applications. This role is a significant driver of company revenue and growth through an existing territory of client accounts. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, the Account Manager is responsible for leading and driving sales engagements to achieve annual sales quotas. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive and orchestrate sales cycles and work with our internal business partners and teams to win cross and upsell opportunities 

  • Use consultative selling to identify business challenges and create solutions for our customers using Business Applications solutions 

  • Working with Transparity Delivery Practices to craft solutions to solve customer business challenges utilising Microsoft’s product portfolio 

  • Navigating through competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position the portfolio of Transparity solutions against competitor offerings 

  • Conduct accurate forecasting through territory plans to drive opportunities through defined sales stages and revenue probability assessments 

  • Leverage client success stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for that specific account 

  • Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they can be impacted by Microsoft products and services 

  • Travel as necessary within your territory to meet customers, and attend company meetings in our office collaboration areas 

  • Proactively engage with relevant Microsoft Sales teams ensuring a three-way partnership with our customers where appropriate

  • Achieve set sales targets 

  • Complete pro-active activities in line with measures outlined within set KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)  

  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development  

  • Manage the sales process from quotation to invoicing, maintaining CRM records in a detailed and up to date fashion   

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft licensing agreements & funding  

  • Track record in selling consultancy and managed services in Microsoft Technologies, with a focus on Dynamics 365 and any other related technologies (Azure, Data & AI, Digital Workplace, Cyber Security or Application development) 

  • Conversant in sales methodologies – MEDDIC, BANT, Challenger Sales 

  • Track record in achieving sales targets through existing accounts 

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills, Strong Work Ethic, Unwavering Service Excellence, Persuasiveness, High Confidence, Maintaining Relationships, Listening, Resilience, Creativity, Adaptability, Organisational, Detail-Orientated, Multi-Tasking, Reliability, Punctuality.
