Digital Channel Lead

THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Digital Channel Lead to elevate our digital presence and performance. This is a critical role responsible for owning the strategic development and operational excellence of our core digital marketing channels. This role will be instrumental in evolving our digital capabilities and optimising our MarTech stack to drive significant business impact across our website, digital advertising (PPC & Display), email, and in-app experiences. The role is equal parts technical and strategic, and we are looking for a passionate expert who enjoys both sides of digital marketing.
Reporting into the Customer Marketing Director.
Responsibilities:
Digital Channel Strategy : Lead the strategic planning for all digital channels. Identify emerging digital trends, technologies, and competitive opportunities to inform and evolve our digital channel roadmap.
Ownership and Delivery of Website execution: Drive the strategic development and ongoing optimisation of our website, focusing on UX/UI, SEO, conversion rates, and content effectiveness. Ability to develop new pages and make website changes using a visual development platform, eg/ webflow.
MarTech Stack Ownership & Optimisation: Alongside the Customer Marketing Director, take ownership of the effective utilisation and continuous optimisation of our marketing technology (MarTech) stack. Identify gaps and opportunities within our current MarTech tools.
Digital Channel Capability Development:
PPC & Digital Display: Oversee the strategy, execution, and optimisation of all paid digital advertising campaigns
Email: Lead the development of our email marketing capabilities
In-App Marketing: Develop and optimise in-app messaging
Reporting and Measurement: Champion a data-driven approach, leveraging insights to continually optimise channel performance and demonstrate clear ROI.
Brand champion: Ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints and communications, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
Budget Management: Manage the digital budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
People Management: 2 direct reports - be able to demonstrate prior experience managing, nurturing and delegating.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in a digital role, with exposure to website building/management, PPC, digital advertising and e-mail.
Passion for website development and creating brilliant customer journeys
Experience of Content Management Systems (CMS) for website updates
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
Core understanding of Google Ads and Google Analytics
Core understanding of SEO principles
People management experience
Budget management experience
Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail
