Manny / PA – Hampstead & Great Portland Street

B11 & B6 | Full-time | Monday–Friday | Driver essential | Long-term role

A lovely, busy Central London family are looking for a fun, organised and proactive Manny/PA to join them on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working with school-age children but would also like to develop their PA experience and have plenty of variety within their working day.

The role is split between Great Portland Street and Hampstead. During the day, while the children are at school, you will be based in a beautiful modern office close to Great Portland Street, helping with a varied mix of family, household and business-related PA duties. This is a great opportunity for someone who is naturally organised and enjoys admin, problem-solving and getting things done, while also building valuable PA experience.

At around 3pm, the focus switches to the family's 2 children, aged 11 and 6. You will head to Hampstead for school pick-ups and take over their afternoon and evening routine until approximately 7.30pm. An automatic car is provided for work use.

The family would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys this age group – someone who can have fun with the children, chat and engage with them and build a great relationship, while also being confident setting boundaries and keeping their afternoons organised. A sporty, active Manny would be particularly well suited to the family; someone who would happily kick a football around, head to the park or get involved rather than always watching from the sidelines.

Afternoons will include school pick-ups, taking the children to activities, helping with homework, preparing healthy meals and keeping on top of their routines. There is also plenty of scope to plan fun activities and outings, particularly during the school holidays.

The family already employ a full-time live-in nanny/housekeeper as well as a cleaner, so this is not a heavy housekeeping role. However, you will be expected to take responsibility for the children's day-to-day organisation, including their laundry, keeping their areas tidy and organised and running occasional errands. The family also have a dog, so someone who genuinely likes dogs and is happy to help out occasionally is important.

This is primarily a sole-charge position with some shared care, and the family are looking for someone who is confident working independently but equally happy being part of a team. A self-starter who notices what needs doing and simply gets on with it would fit in brilliantly.

There will be some flexibility required during school holidays, as well as occasional weekends and travel, so someone who enjoys variety and is happy to be flexible would be ideal.

This is a really lovely opportunity for someone looking for more than a traditional nanny role – combining a great relationship with 2 school-age children with interesting PA responsibilities and the opportunity to develop those skills further.

A confident driver is essential, along with an up-to-date DBS, Paediatric First Aid, fluent English and excellent references.
