We are currently recruiting for Pastry Chefs of varied levels and experience to work across a variety of roles from Restaurant and Hotel Kitchens to large events, sporting fixtures and more. You have the choice of ongoing contract work with set venues or flexible work allowing you to pick and choose your shifts and events.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a committed catering team of staff, dedicated to delivering high quality, seasonal and locally sourced fresh produce to customers. As the successful candidate you will be expected to work as part of a catering team as well as using your own initiative at venues including sports stadia, racecourses, hotels, arenas and some of the UK's top heritage and tourist sites.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Pastry Chef duties to specification including making of pastries, desserts, breads and other baked goods
  • Product Delivery, Standards and Innovation
  • Liaising with Front of House Staff and Management
  • Stock Control, Waste Management and Finance
  • Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Maintenance
  • Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times

Requirements for the role

  • Valid Food Safety Level 2 & Food Allergens certificates – we can provide if needed.
  • You will preferably have an NVQ Level 1,2,3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent) OR relevant experience in the role.

  • An eagerness to work hard & enthusiasm for your role
  • Eligible to work in the UK
