Role Overview
Flutter International Division is looking to grow our small but mighty Commercial Strategy team. Our team works on high impact, commercially oriented strategy projects for senior stakeholders within our division. This is a pivotal role within team. The Senior Strategy Manager will help structure, drive, and ensure timely delivery of key projects; guide and develop junior team members; participate in discussions; and proactively contribute new ideas as the Commercial Strategy team continues to explore new areas to support Flutter International’s growth and performance.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded collaborative leader who is highly organized, outcome focused, and a superb communicator. This role requires strong structuring and analytical skills to effectively guide junior team members, along with a willingness to jump in and get involved where the extra set of hands is needed to get the job done.
Our division consists of 5 regions: Brazil, UK & Ireland, Southern Europe & Africa, CEE, and APAC. Our regions are home to key brands including PokerStars, Betfair, Paddy Power, SkyBetting & Gaming, Tombola, Sisal, Snai, Sportsbet, Junglee, Adjarabet, MaxBet, Betnacional; across an impressive range of products sets in sports betting, casino, poker, rummy & lottery.
What you’ll be doing
Strategy development - You will work within the strategy team to help develop and evolve the strategy of the Flutter International.
Guide junior team members – you will help to provide direction and develop junior team members and shape the evolution of the Commercial Strategy team.
Research & insights – conduct market studies on competitive dynamics and consumer trends to provide insights to leaders across Flutter International’s key markets.
Coordinate projects – help ensure effective cross-function project success .
Build & maintain relationships – ensure Commercial Strategy team stays informed of developments across the organization to better identify strategic collaboration opportunities and when relevant, act as a catalyst in connecting the dots between key initiatives and stakeholders
What you’ll bring
Strong commercial acumen, with sound judgements & instincts.
Ability to break down complex problems into manageable pieces.
Experience in creating C-suit level presentation material.
Experience in planning and leading large scale, cross functional projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
Strong stakeholder management, networking & relationship building skills.
Thrive in working with high degree of ambiguity.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across the division with different cultures.
Resourcefulness to get the job done, and get it done well.

Preferred qualifications
>5yrs experience with 2-3yrs from a top tier strategy consulting firm.
Experience in consumer tech industry, sports betting & gaming, ecommerce, and/or corporate strategy.
Relevant Bachelors Degree & MBA (advantageous but not required).
