We're on the lookout for a dynamic Accounts Assistant to join our client's Finance/Accounting Team at their European headquarters in London! This is a temporary, full-time position that promises to provide you with invaluable experience and opportunities for growth.

Accounts Assistant

Location: St Katharine Docks, Tower Bridge

Hourly Rate: £16.48

Contract Length: 3-months +

Contract Type: Temporary, full time

Role Purpose:

In this exciting role, you'll play a vital part in processing invoices, bank reconciliations, and managing expenses for the organisation. As part of a collaborative team, you'll liaise with both internal and external parties, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing: Handling multi-currency purchase ledger invoices for various vessels, both electronically and by post
Monitoring Systems: Keeping the I2P Mariapps system updated and addressing any supplier payment queries
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Reconciliation of accounts payable ledger accounts and performing account payable reconciliations
Cashier Function: Managing outstanding invoice lists for approvals
Financial Reporting: Conducting balance sheet reconciliations related to agent advances
General Duties: Data processing, filing, photocopying, and other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager
