Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools | Camden
Full-Time, Term-Time Only | Salary: Between £500 - £600 per week

This role is ideal for aspiring teachers who want to gain meaningful, hands-on classroom experience while developing the skills and confidence needed to progress into teacher training.
The Role
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with class teachers across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils to reinforce learning and boost confidence.
- Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and learning resources.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.
- Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Gaining first-hand experience of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice.
This is a varied and rewarding role that offers an excellent insight into day-to-day school life.
Candidate Profile
KPI Education is looking to hear from graduates who:
- Hold a degree in any subject (Education, Psychology, English, or Humanities are desirable but not essential).
- Have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their academic and personal development.
- Possess strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Are enthusiastic, patient, and proactive in a classroom setting.
- Are considering a future career in primary teaching.
