As a Technical Program Manager, you will own and drive projects for the EMEA Network Acquisitions (GNA) Planning team. This position is highly investigative, involving data-driven analysis to develop overall Network Topology plans, compiling technical requirements for network assets such as fibre and leased wavelengths in order to meet forecast demand, while complying with Network Architecture guidelines.

In this role, you will be expected to optimize Google’s Production Network for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency while maintaining the ability to meet new product rollout in a timely manner. This will be accomplished through close cross-functional collaboration and teamwork with Strategic Negotiators, varying Technical Program Mangers and Network Engineers across multiple teams.

  • Own and deliver in-depth technical Risk Assessments based on various what-if analysis to ensure the best technical solution is planned for across the network.
  • Partner with internal business owners, technical teams, and strategic negotiators to define requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and optimize business processes for the timely, cost-effective delivery and automation of EMEA network infrastructure.
