About us
Legl is a fast-growing, B2B LegalTech platform with a mission to bring the legal industry into the 21st century. We’re backed by some of the best venture investors in Europe ( Series B ) and we are scaling quickly on our next phase of growth.
Our mission is to make legal services work better for law firms and their clients. Since launching just over 4 years ago, we’re proud to partner with over 450 law firms, including 40 of the UK’s top 200, and some of their regulated clients as well.
The Legl team is agile, ambitious, and collaborative. We’re not an environment that suits everyone - we thrive on breaking down problems to their essence, understanding the customer, making decisions quickly, and the mindset that every day matters. For the right individuals, this is an opportunity to thrive, be rewarded, and work on exciting, impactful projects alongside talented, like-minded people, while learning and developing at a fast pace.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team and lead the development of products that solve high-impact problems related to KYC, KYB, and AML -ideally with experience in legal tech or fintech environments. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering our product roadmap , bringing a strong focus on delivery, value creation, and customer outcomes .
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll be an equal member of a cross-functional squad , helping the team deeply understand the problem space and user context. You’ll drive data-informed decisions across the entire product lifecycle- from inception to delivery and post-launch evaluation - championing the impact of our products at every stage.
Feeding into our roadmap prioritisation , you’ll seek opportunities to test hypotheses , learn quickly, and ensure that solutions deliver tangible value. You bring a delivery-focused approach to product management , balancing strategic thinking with a pragmatic ability to ship meaningful improvements to our users.
What You’ll Do
Deliver Customer & Business Value : Lead your squad to build products that drive meaningful outcomes for customers and measurable impact for the business, particularly in areas related to KYC, KYB, and AML compliance.
Own the Roadmap : Prioritise workstreams based on market intelligence, customer insight, and strategic alignment. Ensure your team is always focused on the highest-value problems.
Champion Delivery : Drive execution through collaborative product development, hypothesis testing, and a rigorous approach to experimentation and learning.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment from discovery through to launch and go-to-market.
About You
You bring strong experience in KYC, KYB, and AML , ideally gained within a SaaS business in the legal tech or fintech space .
We’re looking for someone who can blend a first principles approach of breaking down complex problems, with great experience from building products – someone who’s not afraid to try new things, but also has opinions about what works and why.
We’d love someone with exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex product insights into clear, meaningful outcomes which drive value to our customers.
Proven track record of delivering successful products that align with customer needs and business goals.
Experience in a fast-paced, scaling SaaS environment (Series B or similar growth stage is a plus).
What success looks like after 3 months:
Developed a strong understanding of Legl’s product, integration capabilities, and LegalTech context - especially around the systems we integrate with and how law firms use them.
Built trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, and are seen as a reliable go-to for anything integration-related.
Has taken ownership of active integration projects and is driving them forward effectively.
Established credibility with key customer and partner stakeholders by engaging confidently and constructively in integration-related conversations.
You will have:
Experience delivering integrations in a LegalTech environment - you understand how law firms operate, their IT stacks and their common integrations with other software.
Comfortable with technical concepts like APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, and data formats and able to work effectively with engineers, even if you're not one yourself.
Customer focussed and outcome oriented, with a track record of gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery.
Strong project management skills - comfortable owning timelines, coordinating across teams, and ensuring integration work progresses smoothly from discovery to deployment.
Used or explored no-code or iPaaS tools (e.g. Microsoft Power Automate) to build or spec integrations.
A clear and confident communicator, capable of building trust and alignment with senior external stakeholders as well as internal teams.
Comfortable operating autonomously, proactively creating clarity and momentum, and adapting as you go.
Are structured and organised, able to juggle multiple workstreams, and are comfortable documenting and communicating your work clearly.
Legl might not be the place for you if:
You're not driven by personal growth, high expectations, or if you struggle with ambiguity and change—our environment thrives on pushing boundaries, taking ownership, and adapting quickly.
But it most certainly will be if:
You’re adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced setting where priorities shift quickly. Pushing boundaries, taking ownership, and striving for more comes naturally to you. You respond to change with ease and can pivot swiftly with minimal guidance
What’s in it for you :
- We all share in Legl’s success. Everyone at Legl receives a competitive salary & share options .
- £250 per year wellbeing budget to spend on anything which contributes to you being your best self
- Access to support sessions with a professional therapist
- £1,000 per year L&D budget to prioritise your continued development.
- We love to get together regularly: from Hackathons to Summer & Winter Parties
- An opportunity to join a well-funded, highly ambitious post-Series B startup
Diversity
At Legl, we believe that diversity drives innovation and success. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
