We are looking for a detail-obsessed Project Manager who loves creating great work and is passionate about delivery. You will be client-facing and own the end-to-end delivery of individual projects, coordinating activities across VML departments and skillsets. You are responsible for delivering to our client's needs, on brief, on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. You are passionate about your role and creating a collaborative, inclusive, and inspiring environment for your teams to succeed. You are a team player, problem solver, and great communicator, keen to take on new challenges with experience in campaign development processes, managing creative teams, and producing output across various with a specialism in CRM and digital.
What you will be doing:
- Drive team communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Own and deliver projects, including regular internal and client reviews and updates.
- Create, manage, and maintain all project documentation, from initial estimation, Statement of Work (SoW), and project plans, through to risk logs, change management, and weekly status reports.
- Manage project financials, ensuring accurate reporting on a weekly basis and that projects are tracking to budget.
- Manage all resource requests for projects, ensuring accuracy and detailed resource forecasting to project completion.
- Successfully wrap up and close projects, ensuring all key learnings are shared with the wider delivery team.
- Work closely with client leadership team to ensure project objectives are met within agreed timeline and budget.
- Manage project teams, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively towards project goals.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Continuously monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate project-related team meetings (e.g., kick-offs, status, internal/client reviews), and communicate action steps to the broader team, acting as a single point of contact for project status and updates.
- Manage moderately complex creative projects independently.
- Troubleshooting ad hoc issues and requests and issues
- Developing close working relationships with partner agencies within the joint venture structure to facilitate knowledge sharing and greater channel cohesion for clients
- Participating in and running status meetings with clients and partner agencies where required . Includes ownership of key documentation including status reports and PO trackers.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in Project Management, within a marketing or creative agency. Experience in the campaign development process managing creative teams and producing output across CRM & Digital.
- Excellent core project management skills, including developing project artifacts (SoW, plans, risk logs), stakeholder management, reporting, financial tracking (burn, EAC, margin), and resource forecasting.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Miro, and MS Office packages.
- Curious about new trends, promoting an environment where ideas flow and expertise are shared.
- Energetic, proactive, and collaborative.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and self-motivation skills.
