Senior Manager SAP FI

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager – SAP FI to lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP Financial Accounting solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP FI, strong leadership capabilities, and extensive experience delivering large-scale SAP transformation programs. This role will partner closely with Finance, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Audit, and Technology teams to drive process optimization, compliance, and business value realization.

Key Responsibilities

SAP FI Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the SAP FI function, providing strategic direction for financial systems and process improvements.
• Define and maintain the SAP Finance roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Manage SAP FI teams, consultants, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Drive governance, standards, and best practices for SAP Finance solutions.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end SAP FI implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and transformation initiatives.
• Design and configure SAP FI modules including:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Bank Accounting
  • Electronic Bank Statements
  • Tax Configuration
  • Financial Closing Processes
  • Intercompany Accounting
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP CO, MM, SD, Treasury, Tax, and external applications.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations and migration projects.

Business Partnership

• Collaborate with Finance leadership to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CFO, Finance Controllers, and business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, controls enhancement, and operational efficiency.

Project & Program Management

• Manage project budgets, timelines, scope, risks, and resource allocation.
• Lead workshops, design sessions, testing cycles, and deployment activities.
• Ensure successful delivery of projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Oversee change management and user adoption initiatives.

Governance, Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Support audit requirements and financial reporting processes.
• Implement and monitor SOX-compliant controls where applicable.
• Drive master data governance and financial process standardization.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop SAP FI consultants and analysts.
• Conduct performance management, career development, and succession planning.
• Build a high-performing team focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
