Part Time Nanny

Experienced Part-Time Nanny – St John’s Wood (NW8)
Start date: March 2026
Hours: 30 per week (Monday-Friday, 6 hours/day)
Salary: Competitive, DOE

Family in St John’s Wood are seeking an experienced, organised, and nurturing part-time nanny to care for their 21-month-old daughter. She is playful and energetic, and the family are looking for a nanny who will create a stimulating, safe, and loving environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide attentive, reliable, and trustworthy care for our daughter
- Plan varied and engaging daily activities including classes, park trips, zoo visits, playdates, and age-appropriate learning opportunities
- Encourage early development through songs, reading, and play that balances fun with learning
- Prepare a variety of fresh, healthy, nutritious meals and snacks; batch cook as needed
- Keep all child-related areas clean, tidy and organised (including laundry, toys, clothes, buggy, kitchen/dining spaces)
- Track daily routines, share regular updates and photos with parents
- Support with light housekeeping for the family (a plus, not essential)
- Provide occasional evening and weekend babysitting (a plus)

Hours & Pay

- Approx. 30 hours per week (6 hours/day, Monday to Friday)
- Flexibility with start/end timing, to be discussed and agreed
- Additional hours for evening and weekend babysitting may be requested
- Competitive hourly rate, dependent on qualifications and experience

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of professional nanny experience with babies and toddlers
- Enhanced DBS check (current)
- Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid & CPR certification
- Level 2/3 Childcare qualifications preferred but not mandatory (plus any other relevant training in safeguarding, health & safety, EYFS, or early childhood education)
- Strong recent references from previous families
- Fluent English is essential; additional languages are a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Warm, proactive, empathetic, energetic, flexible, and highly organised
- Professional and discreet
- Passionate about health, wellbeing, and child development
- Non-smoker
