Your responsibilities as a International Tax Senior Manager
Our international tax professionals support clients in shaping and executing their global tax strategies. You may also be involved in lobbying and negotiations with tax authorities in the UK and globally. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, proactively winning new work, and ensuring the successful delivery of technically complex consulting projects with a practical, commercial approach. You will take overall responsibility for client service quality, generate leads from across the practice, and build valuable networks internally and externally. In addition, you will play a key role in managing and developing junior staff through coaching and mentoring, while contributing to the strategic and operational direction of the wider team.
Requirements
We are looking for a client-focused and commercially aware tax professional with strong technical expertise in both UK and international tax. You will bring excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships while delivering high-quality outputs. With proven business development skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to manage engagement financials, you’ll combine technical excellence with a practical, commercial approach.
You will hold a relevant professional qualification such as ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA, a Law qualification, or completion of the Tax Inspectors’ Technical Training Course, and be degree educated. You’ll be an experienced corporate tax practitioner, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and advise confidently on both existing and emerging rules. Experience in a client-facing UK tax role, ideally within the Real Estate sector, is required.
