Secretary
Barker Associates is an award winning, multi-disciplinary property consultancy and trusted advisor, offering Architecture and Design, Project Management, Surveying, Engineering, and Energy and Sustainability services to a wide variety of clients in the UK.
We currently have a vacancy open for a Secretary who is looking to develop their career, supporting the building surveying department within the organisation. This role will be solely office based, in our London office , where you will interact with multi-disciplinary teams across the business, and ensure compliance within all relevant discipline standards and regulations.
Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include:
- Diary management, meet and greets, and ensuring smooth running of the office.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong commitment to client service and internal support.
- Assisting the Surveying team with invoices, reports and surveys.
- Provide support and collaboratively work with the Executive Assistant.
- Liaising with building management company and managing office services to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment.
- Handling incoming enquiries, providing prompt and informative responses.
- Organising small internal events and servicing all internal meetings.
- Manage and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Previous relevant secretarial experience with an understanding of how an office works
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficient in the use of Office 365
- Experience in Deltek PIM (desirable)
Hours: Monday to Friday8:30am - 5:00pm
