Purpose of the job:
To drive a strategic and holistic approach to talent acquisition across ENGIE UK. Act as a key business partner in relation to talent acquisition solutions that support current and future workforce needs. This role ensures the attraction, selection, and hiring of high-quality talent aligned to ENGIE’s strategy, culture, and capability requirements., and work in collaboration with business leaders and HR to enhance ENGIE’s profile externally as an employer of choice and to attract high calibre of candidates.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders and HR stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and deliver aligned talent acquisition strategic solutions.
- Timely delivery and management of end-to-end recruitment processes, from job requisition creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, to candidate onboarding.
- Utilise various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking, to identify and attract diverse and high-calibre candidates.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline to ensure a consistent pool of qualified candidates for current and future positions.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to both internal and external candidates and hiring managers.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the company's employer brand.
- Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives and act as a brand ambassador, representing the organisation positively to external stakeholders.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, quality, and outcomes
- Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Knowledge and skills:
- Talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning
- Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
- Up to date of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Adapt recruitment strategies to align with the evolving needs of the organisation.
- Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
- Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
- Recruitment technology (ATS, sourcing platforms, data dashboards)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address recruitment challenges and optimise processes.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment
- Employment legislation and ethical hiring practices
- Stakeholder engagement and consultative influencing skills
Experience:
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment and within the energy sector would be a real advantage
- Previous on-boarding experience including planning, organising, and delivering induction programmes
- Expert in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring techniques
- Exposure to high-volume, specialist, or hard-to-fill roles
- Experience using recruitment metrics and insights to drive improvements
