Our client , a leading industrial organization operating across diverse facilities and critical infrastructure, seeks an exceptional Engineering Leader to shape its future engineering model and drive consistency, reliability, and functional excellence. As part of a broader transformation journey, this influential role will oversee engineering strategy, infrastructure, reliability, asset performance, continuous improvement, and capital investment.

Responsibilities

• Lead central engineering and continuous improvement activities, fostering integration and coordination across multiple sites.
• Build credibility and relationships to effectively influence stakeholders and achieve strategic goals.
• Balance long-term strategic priorities with immediate operational demands to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies to enhance safety, reliability, asset performance, and engineering standards.
• Assume increasing responsibility over time and contribute to organizational transformation.

Requirements

• Proven engineering leadership experience with a safety-first mindset.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with a collaborative style.
• Substantial experience within complex asset-intensive environments such as heavy industrial manufacturing, utilities, infrastructure, building materials, chemicals, process industries, or energy-intensive manufacturing.
• Chartered or professionally qualified engineering credentials.
• Strong electrical or multi-disciplinary engineering expertise.
• Experience leading engineering within complex operational environments.
• Track record of improving reliability, asset performance, and engineering standards.
• Significant OPEX and CAPEX responsibility experience.
• Experience operating within matrix organizations and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
