Sweeper Fitter
Location: Stratford, London
Rate: £19.00 per hour
We are looking for an experienced LGV / Sweeper Fitter to join our client's team in Stratford, London. The role involves servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing LGVs, road sweepers and associated plant equipment. This is a great opportunity for a qualified or time-served fitter with strong mechanical skills and a commitment to safety.
Overview
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on LGVs, sweepers and plant equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete necessary repairs.
- Undertake vehicle inspections and routine safety checks.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety procedures.
- Report vehicle defects and any safety concerns.
Requirements
- Previous LGV maintenance experience.
- Good mechanical and fault-finding skills.
- Qualified or time-served fitter.
- Full, valid driving licence.
- Good attention to detail and a responsible approach.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Sweeper maintenance experience would be advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
- £19.00 per hour.
- Guaranteed 40-hour working week.
- Day shifts.
