Junior Social Media Editor - WWW UK
Who What Wear UK is looking to hire an experienced Junior Social Media Editor to join its award-winning editorial team. Are you a digital native who knows exactly how to engage an audience? Can you pivot from brainstorming content ideas and designing social posts to interviewing celebs on a red carpet? If so, then we want to meet you!
- You'll be working across Who What Wear UK's key social channels to nurture a core audience of fans.
- Every day is different! From designing Instagram content to filming TikToks to attending red carpet premieres and interviewing talent, no day for the social team looks the same.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Social Media Editor, you will produce content across all key platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. The aim of this content is to engage, convert, and increase Who What Wear UK's social followings. You will have experience in social media who can work to an impeccable standard. A social-first attitude and ability to ideate quickly and easily will be essential to this role maintaining Who What Wear UK's status as a leader in social content.
- Collaborate with the editorial team and under the direction of the social media editor to effectively write, source imagery, distribute and monitor content on all social platforms.
- Analyse performance of social content to strategise towards traffic referral and affiliate goals.
- Respond to what's happening on social channels, providing in-the-moment ideas, as well as creating social-first content to stay ahead of the competitor set.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- 1-2 years minimum working on social media teams - brand or media
- Organised with good time management
- Fashion, beauty, and/or women's lifestyle content experience
- Team-player attitude with a resourceful, can-do spirit
