PA to the Bursar - Independent School - Tower Hamlets
A well-established independent school in Tower Hamlets is seeking an experienced and highly organised PA to the Bursar to join its central administrative team. The school is known for its strong academic standards, excellent pastoral provision and professional operational management. The Bursar plays a pivotal role in the financial and operational oversight of the school, and this position offers the opportunity to work at the centre of strategic decision-making.

The Role
As PA to the Bursar, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support across finance, estates and operational functions. You will manage sensitive information, coordinate meetings and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Bursar’s office.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing complex diaries and coordinating internal and external meetings
• Preparing briefing documents, reports and presentation materials
• Taking accurate minutes at finance and operations meetings
• Handling confidential correspondence and documentation
• Acting as a liaison between the Bursar, senior leaders, governors and external contractors
• Supporting procurement and contract administration processes
• Coordinating compliance documentation and audit preparation
You will work closely with the finance and estates teams, ensuring communication is efficient and professional.

• Have significant experience as a PA or senior administrator

Experience within a school or finance environment would be advantageous but is not essential for a strong candidate.
