The team needs a QS who sees the big picture, spots the hidden costs, and can walk both site managers and CFOs through the "why" behind the numbers. If you can make cost plans make sense - and make them matter - you'll fit right in. What You'll Own
- Pre?contract: cost plans that hold water and win work
- Procurement alchemy: from tender strategy to final handshake
- Live?project pulse?checks: forecasting that sees around corners
- Value engineering - minus the buzzword: cutting waste, not corners
- Mentoring grads: because lifting others lifts the whole project
Who You Probably Are
- MRICS (or sprinting toward it)
- Fluent in London?centric contracts
- Spreadsheet ninja with a soft spot for a site walk
- Able to say "no" to scope creep without starting a land war
