About the Role
The Site Assistant will provide hands-on support in maintaining the school buildings, grounds, and facilities, assisting the Site Manager and premises team to ensure a safe and well-presented environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with site opening and closing duties
• Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
• Monitoring health and safety compliance
• Supporting room setups for lessons, exams, and events
• Supervising contractors and deliveries
• Responding to on-site emergencies and incidents
Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, or caretaking
• Basic DIY and repair skills
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, proactive, and organised
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safeguarding and site security
