Lunch Cover Receptionist Part-time 20hrs - London,...

Savills Management Resources
London

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide dedicated lunch break cover across multiple Front of House locations within the Savills portfolio.

As a member of the Specialist Mobile Support Cover Team, you will be responsible for travelling between approximately 2-3 properties per day, providing seamless reception cover during designated lunch periods while maintaining exceptional service standards across all assigned locations.

You will typically be assigned a designated route of properties, which will form your primary working pattern to support consistency and familiarity across your allocated portfolio. However, routes and site allocations may be adjusted from time to time in line with business requirements, operational demands, or service changes.

This role requires a highly adaptable, efficient, and dependable individual who can transition quickly between sites, absorb varying site procedures, and maintain professionalism and service consistency in multiple environments throughout the day.

Due to the fast-paced and mobile nature of the position, successful candidates must demonstrate excellent time management, flexibility, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Movement between locations is a core requirement of the role, and candidates must be comfortable travelling regularly across London Zones 1–4.

As this is a specialist mobile support function, the Lunch Cover Receptionist will gain exposure to a broad range of properties, occupiers, teams, and service standards, developing into a highly versatile Front of House professional.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide professional lunch break cover across multiple reception desks daily, typically attending 4–5 sites per shift.

· Travel efficiently between assigned locations in line with the daily rota to ensure punctual arrival at each property.

· Maintain exceptional Front of House presentation and service standards at every site attended.

· Deliver a warm, professional, and polished welcome to all visitors, occupiers, and contractors.

· Manage visitor check-in processes accurately using property-specific systems.

· Answer telephones, intercoms, and reception enquiries professionally and efficiently.

· Liaise with tenants and occupiers regarding visitor arrivals where required.

· Maintain awareness of each assigned property’s site-specific procedures and standards.

· Support meeting room, hospitality, and hosting requirements where applicable during cover periods.

· Ensure reception desks remain operational, organised, and professional during all cover periods.

· Escalate building or occupier issues appropriately to on-site teams or management.

· Build and maintain strong professional relationships with site teams across the portfolio.

· Comply with all site health & safety, fire, and emergency procedures.

· Represent Savills professionally at all times as a mobile ambassador for Front of House services.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

  • Previous reception, concierge, hospitality, or customer service experience.
