Construction Project Manager
Overview
We are seeking a high–quality, experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage a range of projects for a major client, primarily London based. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that the project is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Lead and manage all elements of the project, including H&S (RAMS/site documentation), resource planning, and subcontractor co–ordination.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and all commercial milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential issues.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in managing a wide scope of construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of CDM and best practices.
- Proficiency in using recognised project management software.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen required.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred but not mandatory. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in construction management while contributing to an impactful project within the community.
