Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Based within a fantastic Specialist Paediatric Service in West London, this position is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who needs a new challenge and wants to take their career to the next step. This position is suitable for a very experienced Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist and would accept candidates on a 7 level. The hourly pay rate for this role is £27 - £28 P/H all inclusive.

Our client is looking for candidates who meet all of the following criteria:

• To provide a highly specialist service to children who have an Occupational Therapy need.
• To be responsible for providing highly specialist assessment, diagnosis & therapy packages.
• To support in the development of training packages to school staff / parents / other professionals as required, in order for them to identify concerns regarding the child /young persons needs and implement therapy advice effectively.
• To prioritise the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Children / young people at all times
• To support the service to monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators maintaining target Activity Levels and demonstrating impact re quality and outcomes
• To lead on quality governance, audits and projects for the team/service
• To be responsible for the performance management of identified team members
• To support the team leader in the leading and development of the team
• To deputise for the team leader in the day to day management of the team in their absence
• Be available to commence the role ASAP and commit to the full duration of this contract
