Part-time Nanny, Job ID J1D87C
A busy family in Mile End, London, is looking for a Part-time Nanny to provide dedicated care for their delightful toddler. A full driving licence would be a strong advantage, and a car can be provided if required. They are seeking a relaxed, caring, fun, and loving nanny who can take on all standard childcare duties. The ideal candidate will enjoy organising stimulating activities such as messy play, outdoor trips, and other engaging experiences. As the family is bilingual, they would particularly value someone who can speak Spanish and alternate between Spanish and English with the baby. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm, approximately 30 hours per week
Duties include:
- Ensure the baby’s safety, well-being, and overall development
- Engage the baby in interactive play, early learning activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Support early development through reading, tummy time, and sensory play
- Encourage social interaction by attending baby classes and group activities
- Maintain personal hygiene care, including nappy changes and bathing
- Introduce and supervise messy play to support creativity and sensory skills
- Keep the baby’s bedroom and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Manage baby-related laundry, ensuring clothes and linens are fresh and ready
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the baby’s needs, including batch cooking when required
They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
