Production Operations Supervisor

As Production Operations Supervisor in West London, you'll play a crucial operational lead across productions and events within our Chiswick and Stockley Park facilities. Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Act as operational lead for Chiswick deliveries, representing Production Operations in meetings and liaising with Production Management.
- Information Sharing: Ensure production information, event requirements, and operational updates are clearly communicated across relevant departments.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with Production Resource, MCR, London Bookings, Engineering, and other operational teams to align event details and ensure timely distribution.
- Production Planning: Support planning and delivery of gallery positions, studio rigs, production setups, and associated production requirements.
- Resource Allocation: Check resource allocation documents and systems to ensure requirements are covered and booked correctly. Review bookings systems to confirm accuracy and FACS testing needs.
- Onsite Support: Maintain visible presence during live deliveries, supporting escalation, feedback, and issue resolution during production activity.
- Studio Maintenance: Coordinate studio maintenance scheduling, ensuring work aligns with production requirements and communicating with stakeholders.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure studio maintenance, production activity, and operational deliverables meet Risk Assessment and Health & Safety requirements.
- Facility Management: Coordinate allocation, bookings, and upkeep of green rooms, makeup rooms, and production support spaces.
- Information Management: Support maintenance of service facilities and ensure shared information areas updated with relevant policies and guidance.
- Risk Management: Identify and flag operational or facility risks early and ensure appropriate action taken to protect live output.
- Budget Tracking: Maintain budget and cost tracking documentation accurately, recording changes and approvals.
- Freelance Coordination: Support coordination of freelance bookings, confirmations, operational updates, ensuring teams receive clear documentation and production information.
- Process Improvement: Assist Production Operations Manager with documentation and distribution of new workflows, system integrations, and technical facility updates.
- Team Development: Provide Production Operations Coordinator structured goals and development plans to support growth within the business.
Requirements
- Experience: Experience working in live broadcast, studio production, or production operations environments.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PCR, studio, and live production workflows.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and confidence to escalate issues appropriately.
- Scheduling Systems: Working knowledge of scheduling systems, production booking, and resource allocation workflows.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding of Risk Assessments, Health & Safety requirements, and safe production practices.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build effective working relationships.
- Proactive Approach: Proactive and solutions-focused approach to live production support.
