The Solution Advisor Expert is a strategic customer-facing leader who combines deep HCM expertise with strong business acumen to drive cloud adoption, customer value, and innovation across key accounts in the UK. You will shape transformative HR solutions, strengthen customer success, and guide organizations on how to leverage the latest SAP technologies — especially AI and next‑generation HCM capabilities — while supporting the broader One SAP strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the HCM solution lead for assigned accounts, shaping solution strategy and aligning to customer priorities
- Lead the end-to-end value journey by understanding HR challenges, mapping future-state processes, and creating transformation roadmaps
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts, contributing to pipeline growth and cloud revenue
- Drive early customer engagement on new HCM and AI innovations, validate use cases, and influence SAP’s roadmap
- Support demos, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts, ensuring readiness of HCM content, assets, and environments
- Deliver compelling value stories, ROI cases, and solution narratives to accelerate executive alignment and influence decision-making
- Support pricing, commercial discussions, and renewal cycles to ensure long-term success and cloud consumption
- Strengthen customer relationships at all levels, including HR leadership and C‑suite stakeholders
- Partner with consulting firms and key ecosystem players to co‑innovate and execute joint go‑to‑market activity
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Value Advisory to ensure a unified customer experience
- Maintain strong expertise in SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, AI trends, and competitive offerings
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field
- 10–15 years' experience in consulting, HCM transformation, solution advisory, or enterprise SaaS roles
- Strong track record influencing senior HR and business stakeholders, ideally including C‑suite
- Deep knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and HCM processes, with interest in AI‑driven innovation
- Experience in solution sales, account growth, or customer success in complex SaaS environments
- Skilled in value-based storytelling, business case creation, and solution positioning
- Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively across matrix teams and drive alignment without direct authority
- Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and passion for continuous improvement
