Portfolio Analytics Analyst

Working within the real estate team of a global alternative investment management business, this role sits within the Portfolio Analytics team, and is designed for an Analyst with experience in real estate, infrastructure or private markets. The primary focus is on fund performance analysis (via Anaplan and Excel), data integrity and analytical insight to support senior management and investors.

The role works directly with 2 Associate Directors, providing support across both equity and debt strategies. It is execution-focused from a data and analytics perspective, with increasing exposure to fund performance drivers, liquidity and investor reporting as experience grows.

Core Responsibilities

• Own the input, validation and maintenance of property, investment, and fund-level data across equity and debt structures
• Maintain accurate records of the pertinent deal metrics following acquisitions, disposals, valuations and other key data points
• Support the ongoing development and discipline of master datasets useda cross Portfolio Analytics, Asset Management & Fund Control
• Support the maintenance and operation of fund performance models via Anaplan & Excel
• Assist in performance reporting for internal stakeholders and investors
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of model structure, assumptions and controls
• Work closely with fund accounting to understand liquidity positions
• Responsible for the input, validation and delivery of cash-flow data for INREV and MSCI benchmark reporting
• Assist in responding to investor and internal queries relating to fund performance, cash flows and data integrity.

You will need to have a working understanding of real estate equity and debt structures, and be extremely comfortable working with financial models, cash flows and performance metrics. AI literacy would also be advantageous as the business continues to explore improvements in its analytical capabilities.

The role offers progression from data-centric execution into broader fund performance insight, liquidity management and investor facing analytics.
