Marketing Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing premium fitness franchise at the beginning of its UK expansion journey. Following the successful launch of its first London studio, the business is preparing to open its second flagship location in Central London this October, with an ambitious pipeline of additional studios across the capital.
Backed by an established international brand with proven systems, marketing assets and operational support, the business is now looking for an energetic and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead local marketing activity and help shape the next phase of growth.
This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a scaling business. The successful individual will have the autonomy to adapt global campaigns for the UK market, build meaningful local partnerships, drive membership growth and play a pivotal role in establishing one of London's most exciting boutique fitness brands.
The Basics:
● Salary: £45-£55k
● Hours: Full-time (including some early mornings, late nights and weekends depending on marketing calendar)
● Location: Remote London based with 1-2 days in studio expected per week
The Opportunity:
This is far more than a traditional marketing role. It offers the chance to build a brand, influence commercial performance and grow alongside an expanding business.
The Marketing Manager will own the execution of local marketing strategy across multiple London studios, ensuring campaigns not only generate awareness but convert into memberships and class pack sales.
Working closely with senior leadership and international colleagues, they will oversee agency partners across PR, organic social media and paid media, while identifying new opportunities through partnerships, events, influencer collaborations and community engagement.
As new studios continue to open over the coming months, the role will naturally evolve in scope, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within a high-growth fitness business.
The Role:
Campaign Management:
Lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, membership growth and revenue.
Adapt global marketing initiatives to resonate with the UK audience, ensuring all content feels locally relevant and culturally aligned.
Plan and deliver launch campaigns for new studio openings across London.
Monitor campaign performance and continually optimise activity to improve conversion.
Partnerships + Community:
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with complementary brands, businesses and wellness communities.
Identify and secure creative collaboration opportunities that extend beyond traditional fitness partnerships.
Plan and support local events, activations and community initiatives that strengthen brand presence and drive acquisition.
Build relationships with influencers, ambassadors and key industry contacts.
Agency + Stakeholder Management:
Manage external agencies across PR, organic social media and paid advertising, ensuring all activity is aligned, commercially effective and always tied into relevant marketing campaigns.
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistent messaging across all channels.
Work collaboratively with studio managers, front-of-house teams and leadership to support local marketing initiatives and membership conversion.
Commercial Focus:
Take ownership of marketing activity that directly contributes to memberships, class pack sales and overall studio performance.
Analyse campaign performance, customer behaviour and market trends to inform future activity.
Balance creative thinking with commercial decision-making to deliver measurable business results.
The Person:
The ideal candidate is an organised, proactive and commercially aware marketer who thrives in a fast-moving environment. They enjoy taking ownership, naturally spot opportunities and don't wait to be asked before getting things done.
They will bring experience managing multiple campaigns, stakeholders or brands simultaneously and will be confident juggling competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
A background within fitness, wellness, hospitality or lifestyle brands would be highly advantageous, although candidates from other consumer-focused sectors with relevant partnership and campaign experience will also be considered - a passion for fitness and the product is essential!
The successful individual will ideally demonstrate:
Experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive commercial results.
Strong partnership, event and community marketing experience.
Confidence managing multiple external agencies and internal stakeholders.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret campaign performance and optimise activity.
Strong communication skills with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
The ability to work independently and thrive in a scaling, entrepreneurial environment.
Flexibility to support events, launches and campaign activity outside traditional office hours when required.
A genuine interest in health, fitness or wellness, with enthusiasm for representing and championing the brand.
