We’re working with a forward-thinking school in Fulham that is hiring a Graduate Classroom Assistant to join their teaching support team from September 2025 . This full-time, term-time position is ideal for graduates who want to train as teachers or educational psychologists in the future.
About the Role – Graduate Classroom Assistant
As a key part of the teaching team, you’ll support day-to-day learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your interests and strengths. You’ll work with small groups and individual pupils, including children with additional learning needs.
Your responsibilities will include: Graduate Classroom Assistant
- Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Leading literacy, phonics, or numeracy activities in 1:1 or small group settings
- Supporting children with special needs (SEN), speech and language difficulties, or EAL
- Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
- Helping prepare classroom materials and adapt resources when needed
- Building strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
Who We’re Looking For – Graduate Teaching Support
This role would suit a graduate who:
- Holds a degree (2:1 or above preferred) – Psychology, English, or Education ideal
- Has a natural enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their development
- Is calm, friendly, and confident in a classroom setting
- Has some experience with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, childcare, youth work)
- Is considering a career in teaching, therapy, or educational support
