Maternity Nurse

An international maternity nurse role supporting first-time parents with their young baby while balancing calm routines within a travel-based family lifestyle.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic role suited to an experienced, energetic and highly proactive maternity nurse who enjoys supporting families through travel-based bookings while maintaining calm routines and excellent organisation. A returning Eden client is seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to support them with their first baby, who will be approximately 3 months old at the start of the booking.

The family are primarily based in London but will also spend part of the summer in Italy, with one longer-haul trip to Japan during the booking. They are therefore looking for someone confident and comfortable supporting a family within a travel-based lifestyle while maintaining consistency and calm routines for the baby. If starting on 1st July, candidates must be Italian-speaking, as the family will initially be based in a mountain village in Italy with very limited English spoken locally. From 1st August onwards, language is no longer a requirement.

The family are looking for somebody exceptionally organised, proactive and energetic who naturally takes initiative and keeps things running smoothly without needing direction. Confidence, vigilance and a reassuring presence around the baby are all extremely important qualities for the family. The family follow a more baby-led and relaxed approach to routines, while still valuing healthy sleep habits and consistency throughout the day. Mum would particularly value somebody active, positive and naturally engaging who can fit comfortably into family life and adapt easily to changing environments. A medical background would be welcomed, although this is by no means essential.

• Providing 24-hour care for a 3-month-old baby
• Supporting feeding, routines and sleep habits

Accommodation: Separate flat provided downstairs during breaks, with the option to remain there on day off. Daily breaks also provided throughout the booking.
