I’m partnering with an AI start up in the UK with a global presence, and a focus on the automotive sector to hire a true hunter–gatherer sales leader. They’re using modern technology to transform how automotive businesses drive efficiency across their operations, working with both large enterprises and high‑growth startups across Europe and beyond.

Backed by global investors, they continue to expand across the UK and internationally. The team operates across several hubs, with regular opportunities to meet colleagues in person for planning, collaboration, and team events.

The compensation package is £90-120k pa base salary, £180-240k OTE (50/50 split) . Based in London the role requires 4 days a week in office and 1 day from home. You will be expected to visit clients on-site, however this will count towards your in office days . Knowledge of the automotive industry is beneficial. You’ll fully own your pipeline: you’re motivated by generating new business and turning cold leads into long‑term customers. You’ll use modern sales tools to identify prospects, run discovery, deliver tailored demos, shape commercial proposals, and close new agreements.

What you’ll do:

  • Run full‑cycle B2B sales from self‑sourced lead to signed agreement, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, demos, and negotiation.
  • You will be targeted to close sales in the region of £1 million (a generous ramp up period of 1 year is extended).
  • Turn a technical SaaS product into clear, practical outcomes for customers, such as time savings, fewer admin headaches, and better visibility over their operations.
  • Sell consultatively: map current processes, be solution‑oriented, and help customers design improved ways of working enabled by the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with key internal teams to ensure smooth handovers and rapid time‑to‑value for new customers.
  • Share insights from sales conversations with product, engineering, and GTM teams to influence roadmap, integrations, and packaging.

What you bring:

  • You’re a top performing sales leader with experience selling technical ( SAAS, PAAS solutions into) automotive parts/suppliers market.
  • You have experience closing large complex deals, with a single transaction value of £500k+.
  • Genuine comfort with both phone‑based selling and in‑person visits to customers across your region.
  • Tenacious by nature: you’re comfortable owning a number and building a pipeline from scratch, not just managing inbound interest.
  • Curiosity about how customers work on a day‑to‑day basis and the systems they rely on, with the ability to translate this into practical implementation steps.
  • A growth mindset and ownership mentality: you actively seek feedback, iterate on your approach, and take responsibility for outcomes rather than waiting for instructions.
