Nanny
A professional and experienced Live In Nanny is sought by a Swedish mum based in Chelsea (SW3), to support the care and long term development of her 10 month old son. This is a wonderful opportunity for a degree educated nanny (childcare degree not essential) who is passionate about combining nurturing care with structured educational guidance, and who is seeking a long-term role (5+ years) within a calm and private household. This little boy is happy, energetic, and curious. He thrives around warm, engaging, and positive adults, and is sociable and confident with both adults and other children.
He currently attends music classes three times per week and has regular swimming lessons. He has a cow’s milk allergy and a potential sensitivity to legumes (peas), so careful awareness of dietary requirements is essential.
At approximately 2.5 years old, he is expected to begin nursery, though he will continue to require consistent nanny support alongside his schooling. The household is calm, private, and well organised. A dedicated nanny area adjacent to the kitchen is available and works very well for a live in arrangement This is an exceptional long term opportunity for a professional, educated nanny seeking a stable and rewarding position within a warm international family, where continuity, education, and nurturing care are highly valued Travel: The father resides in the United States, and the child travels frequently, having already visited the US three times. The nanny will be required to accompany mother and child to the United States (primarily Florida and New York) for approximately 2–4 weeks between October and April, as well as shorter European trips during the summer when the father is in Europe. During travel, the nanny will always have a private bedroom with en-suite bathroom, whether staying at the father’s US residence, a villa, or on a yacht in Europe. Job specification:
• Full nursery duties (including tidying after the child, baby laundry, and ironing)
• Accompanying the child to music and swimming classes
• Supporting developmental milestones through structured play and early learning
• Providing educational guidance and academic preparation as he grows
• Preparing meals in line with dietary requirements
• Occasional evening work (approximately twice per week – for 5 hours per evening) Candidate specification:
• An excellent CV and extensive experience caring for babies and toddlers
• A degree (minimum college/bachelor level; childcare-focused education highly desirable)
• Fluent English (essential)
• Italian language skills (a bonus due to the child’s heritage, though not required)
• A warm, energetic, and nurturing personality
• A long-term mindset and commitment to continuity of care
• A valid driving licence (preferred, particularly for use outside of London)
• The ability to combine affectionate care with structured developmental guidance
• Flexible – flexibility required to work some evenings and Saturdays when required (paid extra)
